The Oniko-Dojo was founded in january 1994 and was officially registered as a sports club in the April of the same year. The name was taken from japanese mysticion. Thereby the club follows an old japanese tradition to name a martial arts club wihtin ideas of japanese history, surrounding or mysticion. Therefore we have chosen an oni-koube (demon mask) representing the sign of our club. Our club is registrated and located in Osnabrück - lower saxony, Germany. From the beginning of 1998 we have a branch office in Göttingen. The club is member of the local and state sport organizations	- therefore all members have an insurance. The club was founded to organize the training of about 900 years old martial art named Bujinkan Budo wich is existing of 9 different schools (Ryu) under the guidiance of Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi. The roots of Bujinkan Budo lay within 1000 years direct taught tradition. The schools were taught in a system, as they all depend on the same base of body movement (Taijutsu). As Bujinkan Budo was never transformed into a kind of sports/competition system, it is extremly effective. To keep the training realisticially, the classes are mixed (both sexes and all kinds of age).
